Hi there, my name's David.
I'm a creative soul who's been professionally peddling his trade for nearly 10 years. From my humble beginnings hunched over a sketchbook in primary school through to developing and executing marketing campaigns for major global brands I've always been drawn to the art of visual communication. Along the journey I've been lucky enough to work with a hugely diverse range of clients across many industries and gained valuable agency-based, client-side and freelance design experience. My strengths lie in branding and corporate identity, art direction, print design, illustration, photography, retail/point-of-sale, typography, packaging, signage, digital design and copywriting.
I try not to take life — or design — too seriously. That said, it breaks my heart when I see a café using Papyrus or Comic Sans fonts in their menus. Design snobbery and ruined café breakfasts aside, I genuinely love what I do. For me, helping create new brands is as exciting as the challenge of rejuvenating existing ones. A brand’s visual identity is every bit as important as its product or service, so why sell yourself short with a shabby corporate image?
